CONWAY ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

Wednesday, October 16, 2024 beginning at 7:00 pm

Notice is hereby given that a public meeting will be opened at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at the Conway Town Office, 23 Main Street, Conway, NH to consider the following applications:

  1. A VARIANCE requested by FRED A. SIMMONS [FILE #24-16] in regard to §190-30.B.(2) of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to raise the existing structure so the lowest floor is one-foot above the base flood elevation within the Floodplain Conservation Overlay District at 325 Transvale Road, North Conway (PID 251-49). This hearing was continued from September 16, 2024.
  2. A REQUEST FOR AN EXTENSION PURSUANT TO NH RSA 674:33 IV.(b) requested by WHITE WATER RESIDENTIAL HOLDING, LLC (FORMERLY THE RESIDENCES AT SACO RIVER, LLC) for a VARIANCE granted September 21, 2022 under Case No. 22-27 in regard to §190-20.B.(1) of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to allow the construction of 243 residential dwelling units at 1552 White Mountain Highway, North Conway (PID 246-23).
  3. A REQUEST FOR AN EXTENSION PURSUANT TO NH RSA 674:33 IV.(b) requested by WHITE WATER RESIDENTIAL HOLDING, LLC (FORMERLY THE RESIDENCES AT SACO RIVER, LLC) for a VARIANCE granted April 19, 2023 under Case No. 23-19 in regard to §190-20.E.(1) & (2) of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to allow the construction of 228 (of the 243 proposed) residential dwelling units in three-story buildings to exceed the height limitations based on the materials submitted at 1552 White Mountain Highway, North Conway (PID 246-23).
  4. A MOTION FOR REHEARING requested by SNOWBOUND LAKE, LLC [FILE #24-30] in regard to §190-27.D. of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to allow an 18-foot encroachment into the 100-foot Shoreland Protection Overlay District structure setback to Conway Lake for a proposed addition at 37 Sunset Shores Road, Center Conway (PID 268-151).
  5. VARIANCE requested by RICHARD RURAK [FILE #24-25] in regard to §190-30.B.(2) of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to raise the existing structure so the lowest floor is one-foot above base flood elevation within the Floodplain Conservation Overlay District at 788 East Main Street, Center Conway (PID 266-147.1).
  6. A VARIANCE requested by CHRISTOPHER CRONIN [FILE #24-22] in regard to §190-30.B.(2) of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to raise the existing structure so the lowest floor is three-feet above the base flood elevation within the Floodplain Conservation Overlay District at 71 Bay Road, North Conway (PID 251-141).
  7. A VARIANCE requested by ADRIENNE HOVEY [FILE #24-23] in regard to §190-30.B.(2) of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to raise the existing structure so the lowest floor is three-feet above base flood elevation within the Floodplain Conservation Overlay District at 98 Brookview Road, North Conway (PID 250-188).
  8. A VARIANCE requested by JULIAN MILLER AND MICHELLE COTTON-MILLER [FILE #24-24] in regard to §190-30.B.(2) of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to raise the existing structure so the lowest floor is three-feet above base flood elevation within the Floodplain Conservation Overlay District at 59 Brookview Road, North Conway (PID 250-177).
  9. A VARIANCE requested by NATHAN AND JASMINE THOMPSON [FILE #24-26] in regard to §190-30.B.(2) of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to raise the existing structure so the lowest floor is three-feet above base flood elevation within the Floodplain Conservaton Overlay District at 72 Transvale Road, North Conway (PID 250-199).
  10. A VARIANCE requested by MARY GIBBENS [FILE #24-27] in regard to §190-30.B.(2) of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to raise the existing structure so the lowest floor is three-feet above base flood elevation within the Floodplain Conservation Overlay District at 74 Bay Road, North Conway (PID 251-139).
  11. A VARIANCE requested by PAUL RODOLICO [FILE #24-28] in regard to §190-30.B.(2) of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to raise the existing structure so the lowest floor is three-feet above base flood elevation within the Floodplain Conservation Overlay District at 71 Brookview Road, North Conway (PID 250-178).
  12. A VARIANCE requested by ERIC AND KATI MALO [FILE #24-29] in regard to §190-30.B.(2) of the Conway Zoning Ordinance to raise the existing structure so the lowest floor is three-feet above base flood elevation within the Floodplain Conservation Overlay District at 90 Transvale Road, North Conway (PID 250-198).

This hearing is open to the public and all interested parties can attend.
